I have greatly enjoyed working with these two amazing improvisers and have learned a great deal from each encounter. I actually remember playing with Ed as guitarist in Hyde Park back in the early seventies, and Avreeayl a couple of times in between, but putting this trio together for concerts in Chicago, at U of I Urbana Champaign and eventually a memorable trip to the Made in Chicago Festival in Poznan, Poland was a dream. Here’s our 2019 concert at ProMusica Chicago. https://youtu.be/t4teDefbEqc

Message for Larry Coryell
It was my pleasure and honor to work with guitarist Larry Coryell many times through the years. We had so many great moments as a trio along with the wonderful drummer Paul Wertico. Here is my musical meditation for Larry.

Tblisi w/Larry Coryell Trio
Back in 2011, we had a wonderful time traveling to Tbilisi with Larry Coryell, Paul Wertico and myself. We played a very well received concert there. I hope to be able to return there again! The people were very warm and receptive.
