I have greatly enjoyed working with these two amazing improvisers and have learned a great deal from each encounter. I actually remember playing with Ed as guitarist in Hyde Park back in the early seventies, and Avreeayl a couple of times in between, but putting this trio together for concerts in Chicago, at U of I Urbana Champaign and eventually a memorable trip to the Made in Chicago Festival in Poznan, Poland was a dream.
